Spokane Court Docket Search
Spokane court docket records come from three main systems: Spokane Municipal Court's eCourt Portal for city ordinance cases, the Spokane County Court Viewer for District and Superior Court matters, and the Washington statewide case search for cross-court lookups. Washington's second-largest city has an active court system and multiple search options. This guide explains how each system works and how to find the Spokane court records you need.
Spokane Overview
Spokane Municipal Court eCourt Portal
Spokane Municipal Court runs its own eCourt Portal at my.spokanecity.org/courts/municipal-court/eportal/. This is the primary system for Spokane city ordinance cases, traffic violations, misdemeanors, and code violations. The portal is web-based and provides access to court dates and case information at multiple levels depending on whether you are logged in or searching as a public user.
Public users without a login can search court dates in several ways: Future Dates by Defendant, Future Dates by Case Number, All Dates by Case Number, Hearings by Date, and Court Room Dockets. Case information searches available to the public include Case Number search and Defendant search. Advanced multi-field searches, attorney of record lookups, and defendant searches without a date of birth require a login.
eFiling through the eCourt Portal requires a login and active case participation. Notices of Appearance must be filed in person, by mail, or by email to the court. Do not attempt to file a Notice of Appearance through the eCourt portal without first confirming the correct procedure with the court clerk.
Note: Spokane Municipal Court data is not available in the legacy JIS-Link system; use the eCourt Portal or contact the court directly for municipal court records.
Spokane County Court Viewer
The Spokane County Court Viewer provides access to District Court and Superior Court hearings and case information. This is a separate system from the eCourt Portal. Use the Court Viewer for Spokane County District Court and Spokane County Superior Court matters. The eCourt Portal is for Spokane Municipal Court only.
The Court Viewer provides instructions for searching by name and case type. Note that Dependency, Becca, and Juvenile Offender case information is NOT available online through this system. For those matters, contact the Juvenile Court Coordinator at 509-477-5790.
Spokane County District Court case information by name is available at the District Court name search portal. You must enter at least a last name and the first initial of the first name. The search covers criminal cases, infractions, and protection orders. Information is provided for reference only; the official court record is maintained by the court of record.
