Kitsap County court docket records are maintained by the Superior Court Clerk in Port Orchard, Washington. The Superior Court handles felony criminal cases, civil matters, family law including divorce and custody, probate, guardianship, juvenile dependency, juvenile offender cases, and mental health commitments. The court follows Washington State court rules plus locally adopted Kitsap County rules. The Clerk's Office provides two main access paths for court records: the Washington State Digital Archives for infrequent users and the Odyssey Portal for subscribers.
Public access terminals are available at the courthouse during business hours for free case searches. These terminals display the same public-facing information as the Odyssey Portal without requiring a login. If you are making a one-time search and do not want to set up an account, the in-person terminals are a practical option.
How to Search Kitsap County Court Docket Records
For general public users and infrequent searchers, the Washington State Digital Archives is the recommended tool. To find Kitsap County Superior Court records, select "Superior Court Records" under Record Series and choose "Kitsap County" from the County dropdown. Enter the case number with dashes. If you do not know the case number, check the Odyssey Portal first to retrieve it. Once the case appears in Digital Archives, click on individual documents under "Description" and preview them by clicking the page icon under "Image Exists." Add to cart and check out to purchase copies.
For frequent users, the Odyssey Portal subscription is the better fit. Contact odyportal@kitsap.gov to register. Subscriptions give access to non-confidential documents for all Kitsap County Superior Court cases. Attorneys of record can also access confidential records in their active cases through the portal. The subscription service is used by law firms, bail agencies, process servers, and others who regularly need document-level access.
Copy Fees and Audio Recordings
The Kitsap County Clerk copy request page lists current fees. Authenticated and exemplified copies cost $9.00 for the first page and $1.00 for each page after that. These are the highest-authentication copies available and are accepted in out-of-state and federal proceedings.
Audio recordings of court hearings are available for order. Regular processing (3 to 5 business days) costs $25 per hearing day for pick-up or download, and $30 per hearing day if mailed. Expedited processing (1 to 2 business days) is $45 for pick-up or download, or $50 mailed. Payment must be received before the request is fulfilled. Digital audio download links expire 30 days from the date sent. Audio recordings can be played using the FTR Player from fortherecord.com. If audio is sealed or confidential, you must appear in person with a government-issued photo ID and payment.
Written transcripts require the audio recording first. The Clerk's transcript request page has a list of approved transcriptionists for Kitsap County proceedings. Plan ahead for transcripts, as turnaround times depend on transcriptionist availability and the length of the proceedings.

Kitsap County District Court and Municipal Courts
The Kitsap County District Court is also located at 614 Division Street, Port Orchard, WA 98366, phone 360-337-7109. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. District Court handles misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor criminal cases, traffic infractions, civil cases up to $100,000, small claims up to $10,000, domestic violence protection orders, and preliminary hearings in felony cases.
Kitsap County has four municipal courts operating within the county. Bremerton Municipal Court is at 550 Park Avenue, Bremerton, WA 98337, phone (360) 473-5260, open Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, handling city ordinance violations, misdemeanors, and traffic infractions within city limits.
